About the Artist

Printmaking is the voice for Jim Jereb's ideas and imagery. Stemming from direct observations, sketches, and just mulling things over in his head Jereb creates works of art through etching, drypoint, lithography, and carved relief prints. While some of the pieces are traditional landscape his art often uses symbolic references; animals in place of people. Also in his interest is the use of silhouette -- with these works the importance is what people are doing and their inter-relationships and not so much who they are.
