About the Artist

Loosening the reins and leaning into a creative life—that’s Jayme’s sweet spot as an artist, author, and educator.

Originally from Colorado, Jayme spent more than 30 years as an art instructor and owned the beloved Piggy Toes Art Studio. Today, she makes her home in Wyoming’s Centennial Valley, where the vast skies, ever-changing landscapes, and abundance of wildlife and ranch critters inspire her work.

Jayme primarily paints in acrylic on canvas and is best known for her bold floral abstractions and Western landscapes. Her vivid colors and playful textures—often described as “joyful and hopeful”—have brought her artwork into numerous private collections and exhibitions.

With a passion for encouraging creativity in others, Jayme leads art and writing retreats at the Vee Bar Ranch. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Creative Arts and Art History at Colorado Christian University. In addition, she is the founder of Cowgirl Publishing, a self-publishing project management and consulting company.

Jayme is an award-winning novelist whose stories explore the transformative power of art. She is honored to be part of this year’s Touchstone Art Exhibition, celebrating Wyoming’s vibrant artistic community.
