Paula Wilson-Caziér of Honey Tree Studios is a Buford, Wyoming based watercolor artist who's latest paintings will be on display and for sale at the 6th Biennial Touchstone Laramie Art Exhibition hosted by the Laramie Artists Project.
Paula is a third-generation Wyoming native who is inspired by the natural beauty of the earth, particularly the trees in these high elevations. She interprets their variety, fragility, and tenacity through the vibrancy of the pure transparency and translucency of the highest quality of watercolor pigments, which she often hand-mixes from dry pigments in her country studio. The process is, she says, therapeutic and restorative, much like the ancient wisdom practice of Hatha yoga - of which she is an advanced, certified registered teacher. Technical excellence combined with the uncompromising and demanding nature of the traditional transparent techniques watercolor medium is the hallmark of Honey Tree Studios work, multiple-award-winning and held by patrons internationally.
Her work is now represented exclusively by the Deselms Fine Art gallery in Cheyenne, Wyoming (www.deselmsfineart.com). See more of Paula's work on her website www.honeytreestudios.com or Follow her on Facebook @HoneyTreeStudios.
This is Paula's 6th time exhibiting at Touchstone Laramie and her 10th year as part of the Laramie Artists Project. This year she will be revealing new original watercolor paintings using Windsor and Newton transparent nonstaining pigments on d'Arches 100% rag handmade French paper for the 6th Biennial Touchstone Laramie Art Exhibition on November 10th and 11th, 2018 at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Laramie, Wyoming.
