Barry O’Riley a Laramie, Wyoming based artist who creates original artwork that will be on display and for sale at the 6th Biennial Touchstone Laramie Art Exhibition hosted by the Laramie Artists Project.
Barry, came to Wyoming at a young age, earning his BFA from UW in 1990. He enjoys the peaceful Laramie environment that provides for his artistic process. He deals with life’s challenges and opportunities by creating mixed-media metaphors that point to the relationship between the self and the universal. By visually integrating design elements he gives form and structure to the themes of “seeing through everyday experience” and “waiting at the feet of the goddess.” Through these creations he experiences a healing that touches all aspects of his life and being. He shares these benefits with all who view his work.
