Ginnie Madsen is a Laramie, Wyoming based artist who creates original prints, paintings, and artwork that will be on display and for sale at the 6th Biennial Touchstone Laramie Art Exhibition hosted by the Laramie Artists Project.
Ginnie Madsen is a fine-art printmaker, and painter. Her work develops from direct observation or recollections of situations and places with which she is familiar. Madsen earned a BFA from the University of Chicago, and taught elementary school art. After moving to Laramie, she earned an MFA at UW in 1991. She taught drawing, sculpture and print making classes at UW for ten years. Her work has been in regional and national shows and I have had a few solo shows. Madsen’s work received a Wyoming Arts Council Fellowship in 2007.

This is Ginnie's 6th time exhibiting at Touchstone Laramie and her 12th year as part of the Laramie Artists Project. This year he she exhibiting new paintings and artworks for the 6th Biennial Touchstone Laramie Art Exhibition on November 10th and 11th, 2018 at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Laramie, Wyoming.
